Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern registration for conferences and events hosted by Empower Aesthetic Medicine Collaborative (EAMC) and the Nurses & Needles Conference Series™. By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
1. Registration & Payment
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable HST.
- Ticket pricing advances as seats are sold; the price in effect at the time of purchase applies.
- Payment is processed securely at the time of registration; your registration is confirmed only once payment is successfully completed.
- Registration is personal to the named attendee and may only be transferred per the Ticket Transfers section.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to nursesandneedles@eamc.ca. Refund eligibility is based on the date the written request is received.
- More than 60 days prior: full refund minus a $100 administrative fee.
- 31 to 60 days prior: 50% refund.
- 30 days or less prior: no refunds.
No refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
3. Ticket Transfers
Registrations may be transferred to another attendee up to 7 days prior to the event at no additional charge. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing.
4. Event Changes
EAMC reserves the right to modify the schedule, speakers, venue, or programming if necessary. Such changes do not qualify for a refund.
5. Unforeseen Circumstances
In circumstances beyond our control (severe weather, public health restrictions, venue closures, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen events), EAMC reserves the right to reschedule. Registrations transfer to the rescheduled date, and refunds may not be guaranteed.
6. Special Circumstances
Requests related to medical emergencies or extraordinary circumstances may be reviewed case-by-case at the discretion of the organizing team.
7. Attendee Benefits & Exhibitor Communications
As part of your event registration, you consent to Empower Aesthetic Medicine Collaborative (EAMC) and Nurses & Needles sharing your name, email address, and professional designation with participating exhibitors and sponsors. This enables our partners to provide attendees with exclusive educational content, event-related updates, product information, and special promotions or discounts available exclusively to the Nurses & Needles community. You may unsubscribe from exhibitor communications at any time through the communication preferences provided by the sender.
8. Photography, Video & Media Consent
By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded during the event, and grant EAMC the right to use such images and recordings for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes without compensation. If you do not wish to be featured, please notify the organizing team in writing in advance.
9. Code of Conduct
Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. EAMC reserves the right to remove any attendee who engages in disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct, without refund.
10. Educational Content Disclaimer
Content presented at EAMC events is intended for the professional education of licensed healthcare practitioners. It does not constitute medical advice and is not a substitute for independent clinical judgment. Attendees are solely responsible for ensuring any techniques or treatments they perform fall within their scope of practice, training, and licensure, and comply with applicable laws and regulatory standards.
11. Limitation of Liability
Attendees participate at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EAMC, Nurses & Needles, and their organizers, faculty, staff, and partners shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from attendance or participation in the event.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration is used to administer your registration and attendance, to communicate with you about the event, and as described in Section 7. EAMC handles personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
